XT600 Posted May 23, 2009 Report Share Posted May 23, 2009 at $40 I got counter offer to add $12 - added Kreuzberg and tried $43 still rejected, added "Schloss Charlottenburg" for $46 and got accpeted.NOTE: #46 at Tripadvisor, only 4-5points evaluated, in many sites rates as 4*Hotel! Free Sauna!!!Official rate for for above period: 79 EUR incl., I got it here for ca. 44 EUR incl. :)I know that West/Tiergarten could have got 4* Marittim for 55 bucks but it's 144 on TA and we definetely prefer the eastern part of Berlin (easier free parking, nicer restaurants) Link to comment

Chris26WI Posted May 24, 2009 Report Share Posted May 24, 2009 just be aware that there's hardly any free parking space around the Courtyard neither...looks like it.. I mean usually a lot of place available, but not for free, unfortunately, got 2 tickets there...you have to use the machines for getting parking tickets. So finally I ended up using the in-house car park of the cy.. (chargeable too, of course) Link to comment
