First bid $57.00 (saw someone had gotten this rate for the Hyatt same date) declined

Added Lincoln Park and bid $65.00 (someone had gotten the Fairmont for this rate) declined

Added Midway Airport, bid $67.00 and was accepted at the Hilton

Kind of far for me. I'm going to a convention at the Navy Pier, but I'm still thrilled, and saved a ton.

While it appears the NMA-River North zone may have worked out a bit more convenient for your plans, this is a great rate for Downtown Chicago and it's fairly easy to hop the bus up Michigan Ave (or an inexpensive cab ride if you have more money than time :) )
