Priceline Hotel: 4* Soho

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum, so this is my first request for help. I do know something and have successfully bid on priceline before knowing about this forum last week only.

So my question is:

We (my wife and I) are going to NYC from June 3-6 and like to stay in Soho/Tribeca/LES area. There are some 4* on Priceline with good enough reviews (Soho Grand, Tribeca Grand, 60 Thompson) which you can book directly and I'd be happy with. However, naming your own price Soho is clubbed with Downtown/ Financial District which adds the Millenium Hilton, one I'd tend to avoid...

Would you have any idea, how I can make sure to land in Soho? "Regular" rates start at 284 (Soho: 60 Thompson) and 289 (Hilton).

Hope that's all the information you need to help me.

Perhaps your recent win can help another user with their own upcoming stay... can you please add the details of your PRICELINE win to the board as a NEW TOPIC so the information can benefit others.

You can't target a sub-set of the zone... if you're not willing to accept any hotel in the zone you select, at the minimum star level you choose, then you shouldn't bid that zone.

You could try searching HOTWIRE and see if you can identify the hotel that is being offered in this zone to determine if it's one that you'd be happy with... still no guarnatees, but at least it's a calculate risk.
