kristens4
I am very disappointed, I was trying to win the Westin Resort, also a 4*. I thought by bidding over the Crowne Plaza's price, ($136) I would either win or be rejected, not get a hotel that costs less. Just an FYI for others. Thanks,Kristen Link to comment
thereuare
Thank you for sharing your results with the board. Can you please add a reply to this thread with the price of your winning bid (it's not clear if you bid $136 or you assumed that the Crowne Plaza's price was $136) as well as the dates of your stay so your win can appear in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins. (i think i just got your dates from your other post, can you confirm the dates in the topic title are correct)It's usually not recommended to bid as you have, as discussed in this thread: Don't Bid Higher For a Specific HotelPlease use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.PS- please follow-up your previous Hotwire San Antonio thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay. Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
kristens4
The dates are 5/7/09 thru 5/10/09. The bid was $140. Someone else bid $135 for a few days later and won the desired hotel, so I thought I had a good chance. Plus, like I said, my bid ($140) was higher than the nightly rate on the PRICELINE site. As requested, I did use your PRICELINE link to make the bid. Kristen Link to comment
