bobcook54 Posted April 17, 2009 Report Share Posted April 17, 2009 Started at $39.00 and have slowly added every day until I hit at $50.00....$65.00 with taxes and fees. Holiday Inn Express Downtown. I have stayed here once before and thought it was at least a 3*(the room was much nicer than the 4* Renessaince Downtown)! Housed in a old Bank Building,the room was huge and just wonderful,plus the free breakfast was the best that I have ever had..hot items such as bacon,sausage,etc.I used this strategy lately for a Cleveland Cavaliers game and was upgraded to a 3* at the Doubletree Lakeshore(recently remodeled....used to be a Holiday Inn) for $42.00 plus fees and was kinda hoping that I would get it for this stay(Cleveland Browns pre-season game). But I must say that I'm not disappointed. Go Cavs and Browns!!!! Link to comment
