tbangs
I saw a post to this on another travel site, and thought it was quite interesting. I ran a search for kicks for the same day as my next Priceline trip and it came back within $5 to $10 bucks of what I paid Priceline. Maybe another alternative to failed bids, or if you just want to know where you are staying in a particular city.www.travelaxe.com Link to comment
thereuare
I try not to avoid downloading programs onto my computer... too much spyware, adware, trojans, etc. This program may ineed be clean, but by sticking with this policy i don't have to question where computer problems come from. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
gleff
Travelaxe definitely puts 'spyware'-type cookies on your computer, but only just like other sites like mileage malls where they're tracking your purchase as they earn a commission from the different hotel vendors you might book from. Nothing too pernicious.A very useful too IMHO for quick searching across several booking engines and properties, and displays results in an easy-to-use collated format that allows you to sort by price, property, etc. Link to comment
