RICHTC
Just bid $85 and it was accepted for the Hilton in the WDW Resort. I used the Better Bidding PRICELINE link. Thanks! Question - do I get Hilton points for this stay? Link to comment
Heartsafire
It has been my experience while staying there, that you only get points for purchases made at the resturants, movies in the room, etc. Please be aware that they do not charge a resort fee, but an $8 self parking fee instead.I just staying there last night (03/26-26). They were quite attentive, when I got to my room, the room next to me were playing very loud rap music in the middle of the day! They moved my room without any problems and were great about it. thereuare
Congratulations on your success!Glad to hear you got a nice deal and are happy with the results.Heartsafire is correct in that you don't typically get points for your stays, but often you can get points for any incidentals you may incur while at the property (internet access, meals, etc) so you should charge everything to your room and settle the bill at the end of your stay.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
JamieDDS
It never hurts to show your card. I recently stayed at a Marriott Resort in Orlando and showed my Platinum Elite Card and was upgraded to their top level suite -- $499/night value. I did NOT get the points, but the suite upgrade was pretty sweet! cant beat it. Link to comment
kjr
you will not get points.i also thought I would post that i spoke with the property directly, and they were willing to give me 89 per night in May (best rate is 98 at website for times). Just so others can refine the bidding....as it looks like in this economy, the spread between PL and the rate the hotel offers is getting smaller. Link to comment
