coppercarla Posted March 23, 2009 Report Share Posted March 23, 2009 Travelling to DC for spring break with family/kids 3/28 to 4/3 or 4/4.Started at $55 looking in the Capitol Hill for 4 star (longshot, but hey, ya gotta try!) for 3/28 to 4/1.Rebid - Added White House area.Rebid - Added Arlington area.Rebid - Added Crystal City area.Rebid - Changed bid to look for 3.5 and 4 star.Rebid - Changed date to end on 3/31.Rebid - Upped bid to $60.Accepted at the Marriott Metro Center for $60/night.Got what I really wanted which was a hotel with an indoor pool so the kids can unwind after a long day of sightseeing.Will try later in the week to either extend at the Marriott for this price by calling them, or will bid again to finish out the few days we need.
