the Hilton Troy must have very recently changed hands. There's no Hilton Troy on www.hilton.com any more. The address and phone number now are for Ramada Plaza Troy.

Thanks for the post bluedevils. If this is the case, then the original poster should contact PRICELINE and see what they say - partial refund, perhaps?

It must have been a very recent change, because when I checked out on March 29, it was still a Hilton.

Incidentally, when I received the survey from Priceline, I suggested that it should be a 3 star, not 3.5. The staff was friendly, and there wasn't anything particularly bad about the hotel, but the hotel needs a facelift...the rooms and common areas are not nearly as contemporary or upscale as I would expect from a Hilton. I think the style of the hotel fits the Ramada brand more appropriately.
