sb589004
Bidding on 2 rooms for Sat night, 10/2. Started at $60 and bid up to $86...would have thought that would be high enough.Looks like some pretty big conventions in town at that time though. I guess I'll wait the 72 hours and try again.Any suggestions about other areas that are convenient to the cruise terminal? We're getting off a cruise ship on the morning of 10/2 and flying out 10/3. Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
I don't think you're too far off (maybe a few dollars but probably less than $30), but if you don't want to bid higher, how about USW? (it's very close to the USE zone). Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
TBQ
The Fisherman's Wharf zone might be equally appropriate. The SF crusie terminal is at Pier 35 - if you look at Priceline's FW Zone map, locate Pier 39 and count down two piers to the right of 39 (the piers are odd-numbered on this side of the Ferry Building). sb589004
Tried bidding this one again, this time up to $96, still failed. I still have some time but I'll probably start deciding what other areas/stars we'd be happy with. Link to comment
sb589004
Tried for Fisherman's Wharf 3* (thanks for the advice TBQ). Bid $65 (rejected) then free rebid $70 (rejected). It's not as much fun when there's only one re-bid. :) I'll try again after the 72 hours, probably:USE 4* up to $95, thenFW 3* $70 then re-bid $75unless anyone has any other advice. The Club Quarters (USE 3*) doesn't look too appealing to me, so that's why I'm staying away from the USE 3*.
