soccerdude
I'm looking to get the $135 on Priceline for Ft Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort (3/18 - 3/23). What should I do? Please help. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! You cant' bid on a specific property... are you willing to accept any Resort class property in the Beach zone? While this is currently the only Resort class property reported to the board, there could be others, and you could be the first to report a new property at this star level. As well, rates are date specific and the $135/nite rate which somebody else has received for their own stay may or may not be available for your own stay. In checking rates direct at the Marriott website it appears this property is sold-out for your date range above... we have seen wins at hotels where the hotel's own website is showing sold-out, but this does greatly reduce the chances of success. If you'd like to proceed, is $135/nite your maximum bid? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. soccerdude
I bid in the "Resort" class and was able to get the Westin Diplomat Resort And Spa for $140 for the above dates. I'm thinking I did ok. Link to comment

toledo
Did this hotel come up in the Fort Lauderdale zone? Can you change the title to reflect the winning bid? Thanks. Link to comment
soccerdude
As mentioned in my other post I was trying for the Ft Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and ended up with this one. I had both the Beach and the Hollywood zones. Those were the only ones with the Resort option. Link to comment
yellowdog
toledo,Did this hotel come up in the Fort Lauderdale zone? This is the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood zoneIf you need any help so just start a new post. YellowDog. Link to comment
toledo
This hotel is in the Hollywood zone, not the Fort Lauderdale Beach zone. You need to put that in the title, as the Marriott Harbor Beach seems to go to bidders in the Fort Lauderdale Beach Zone. The correct title for this thread should be Resort Hollywood Westin Diplomat ..............
