bkhanley
I was actually bidding trying to get a 3.5 or 4 star downtown and accidentally put the Druid Hills/Emory Zone in on a re-bid and got this hotel. Great price I am sure for the property but not the part of town I needed to be in. I sucked it up and re-booked another hotel. Priceline offered a $25 fee to cancel given my circumstances and would apply the $44 towards a future purchase. Bottom line is be very careful when re-bidding. I had listed this zone out as one to use as a re bid only if I was bidding on a 4 star and mistakenly used it when bidding on a 3.5 star.I figured it was worth reporting here though in the spriit of information exchange for future bidders. :)And let the record show, I used the PRICELINE link on this website. thereuare
Thank you for sharing your results with the board.Besides sharing the win to help others who may be looking to stay in this area, your experience is also important to note so that others know that sometimes things don't go smoothly and mistakes do happen. Your advice to always doublecheck your zones before clicking the "Buy My Hotel Room Now" button is a good one.Glad to see that PRICELINE was able to work with you to help make the mistake a little more bearable.Thank you for sharing your purchase with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding.
