Hotwire Hotel: 3* Orlando (Universal Orlando - I-Drive North) Monumental Movieland

I was looking for a 3 star hotel in the Universal Studios area.

I bid on PRICELINE from $33 up to $41 using rebids, with no luck.

Then I switched to HOTWIRE and chose the $40 choice. Based on the amenities, I thought it might be the Clarion Hotel Universal, but it wasn't.

For two nights, it came out to $95.77 after you include the fees.

I'm not thrilled, but it might be okay. I need another two nights the next weekend (3/20-3/22). Any suggestions?

Edit: I went ahead and booked through HOTWIRE for 3/20-3/22 for $40. The amenities were different, but I got the same hotel!?!

Admin: This is the same hotel as the "2.5* Best Western Movieland" in the list. Just got upgraded with the new owners.

neocadre: Let's hope you like the place since you got it for the next weekend also! The location is perfect, very close to Universal and Sea World. 15 minute drive to Disney parks. Lot's of breakfast/restaurants/bars within walking distance.
