chsieh
We have three people total, but I'm comfortable bidding for double occupancy and just adding a rollaway bed if need be. Hotwire has a 4* located in MTC for $135/night. Amendities include Fitness, Restaurant, Business Center and Highspeed Internet. Not sure which this hotel is. Total is $789.53. Trying to see if can get it down to maybe $120/night. Seeking for help since I'm new to this. Do you think Priceline would be able to beat this? I'm ok with MTE, MTW and TS/TD areas. Thanks! thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! We have three people total, but I'm comfortable bidding for double occupancy and just adding a rollaway bed if need be.There are some NYC hotel rooms which only have one bed and not enough space for a rollaway... just making sure you're aware and willing to accept this potential. Trying to see if can get it down to maybe $120/night. Seeking for help since I'm new to this. Do you think Priceline would be able to beat this? I'm ok with MTE, MTW and TS/TD areas.Priceline is usually a little cheaper than PRICELINE... based upon my comments above, do you want to try bidding for a 4* in any of these acceptable zones with a $120 maximum bid? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. chsieh
I'm so sorry but I want to verify the 5 free rebid zones. I think they are MSG/Convention, Chelsea, Long Island, Brooklyn, and Upper East. Is that correct? Thank you! Link to comment

chsieh
I tried two days in row with no luck on priceline. Bid up to $115 + tax. Then I saw today Hotwire has a rate of $174 for 3 people/day for a total of $1,009 for a 4* in MTC. Decided to go ahead and book that since we are all guaranteed a bed. Amendities were smoke free, restaurant, gym high speed internet and business center. Turned out to be Sheraton New York & Towers. Excellent location, so pleased with the results. Thanks for all your help! Link to comment
