Hotwire Hotel: Hollywood Florida

Hello

I would like to identify a hotel in Hollywood, Florida. I thought that this 4 star hotel would be the Crown Plaza based on past posts, but I noticed that it doesn't mention being near the beach. It is for March 19-23. It is listed at $166 on HOTWIRE and the amenities are:

Resort

Fitness Center

pool

restaurant

High speed internet

golf nearby.

Any idea what it is. On the beach or very near the beach is very important to me.

Sounds to me like it could be the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa. But, the Diplomat is on the Beach, so I'm not sure. There is also The Diplomat Golf Resort and Spa which is near the beach. Thats located in Hallandale Beach.

I am able pull up this property on HOTWIRE now but unfortunately can't add much more insight than has already been provided in this thread.

Searching for other dates i did find the Crowne Plaza offered with the same set of amenities that it has previously been reported with in the Hotwire Hotel List... and while this mimizes the property above being the Crowne Plaza, i don't think it can rule it out completely since lately we've been seeing more and more properties using multiple amenity combinations depending upon some criteria of the search.

I got a decent rate at the Marriot by booking with them directly ($229 with breakfast and parking) so I deceided to go with that rather then the uncertainty of a $166 hotel that might not be on or near the beach. Thanks for your help.
