igk
Hii have never used priceline for a car rental, but thought i'd give it a try.i am going to boston and staying in the quincy market area at the end of march. want to go out to wrentham outlet mall for a day and would prefer to rent a car. would prefer to pickup in morning and return at night to avoid having to pay for parking it at the hotel.on priceline, can you specify where to pick up a car rental from? what are the pickup/return times usually?thanks Link to comment
thereuare
Boston offers cars in "Downtown" (but you won't know exactly where downtown, you'll have to get there on your own) and at the Airport. You can try both or whichever you think will be better for your plans, but I suspect that an airport location would be less expensive, and perhaps a bit 'safer' since you know you'll be able to access their airport via mass transit. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. (there is a 'direct to car rental' link in my signature below)Let us know if/how you'd like to proceed and we'll try to advise accordingly. lazybummm
Man, Boston is got some ridiculous taxes for rentals cars. I am going at the end of March as well, but I am renting a car for 4 days. Checkout Alamo.com if it's a weekend rental as they have specials for $10/day on economy and compact sizes. I made a reservation for that, 4 days came out to be around 82, the taxes and fees of around 42 was more than the rental cost of $40 itself! But I am bidding for a SUV on PRICELINE until then, not sure where we're going, having AWD/4WD might be useful. Also if you want to return at night I would really consider the airport since they're open 24 hours. Link to comment
