roaming_jane
Hello! Used the support page link to go to PRICELINE.Saw that Ka'anapali and Wailea had resorts and 3.5 stars. Kihea and Kahului had only 3 stars and below.Started with resorts Ka'anapali $115. RejectedAdded Wailea resorts $120 rejectedAdded Kihea $125 rejectedAdded Kahului $130 rejectedAdded 3.5* and $131 accepted for 3.5* Royal Lahaina ResortNot sure if that's the best score in the world, but I'm pretty happy. I've been trying for a few weeks and have been rejected all along, so I'm relieved to be done with it. Should I have added in the 3.5* earlier in the process? Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your win and thank you for sharing your results with the board.Glad to see you're happy with the results and this will work well for your plans. The 'problem' with your bidding strategy above is that you lowered your star rating and raised your bid at the same time, where it's usually recommended to If You Lower Your Star Quality Then Lower Your Bid Price (more details in this previous link). So you could have closed the browser to 'remove' and checkmarks next to previous bid zones, then started over, at a lower star rating, at the 3.5* level.Feel free to ask any questions you have reagarding the above. At least you still saved some money vs. a conventionally booked room and the reviews are very good.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
