fcc11
Thanks again to the info posted on the board I reserved a room for 2 nights at the Hyatt for $105 a night. I was aiming for the Hyatt and from the $105 bids I was seeing on the board I used this strategy:MTE -low bid $100Rejected with message of one time offer for $22 ( no way! thanks to info learned from this board...)So started Free Rebids:Chelsea-$102-RejectedMSG- $104-RejectedUES- $105-AcceptedHotel: Grand Hyatt New York 109 East 42nd Street Park Avenue And Grand Central Station Check-In Date: Saturday, February 28, 2009 Check-Out Date: Monday, March 2, 2009 Yeah! $105 for MTE looks like the base price for this time period.I've always wanted to stay here because I'm traveling via MetroNorth so this is great as far as easy access to train, subways, and bus. So thank you once again- so much fun (though a little nerve racking-does that ever go away when you press the submit button?)to work around the bidding system. Also my dining tip for the area: Cibo (2nd Ave between 42nd-43rd-Daily News Building) has a terrific 2 course brunch(many menu choices) with drink, coffee, and muffin basket for $18.95 on Saturday and Sunday. And Used the PRICELINE Link Link to comment
