MrsPhim
Hello! There doesn't seem to be too much Hotwire hotel information about this area of LA, it is the Downey-Commerce-Norwalk (east of downtown) area. Any ideas on which hotel this is on Hotwire? For August 22, 2004Downey-Commerce-Norwalk3.5 * Best Value for $45 a nightRestaurant, Pool, Fitness Center, Business Center, Golf NearbyThanks so much! thereuare
Not really too much to go on based upon the amenities, but my best guesses would be the Marriott, Sheraton, or Radisson.Since this is an extended stay you can look to see if this property shows itself for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then for the remainder of the trip. If you're happy with the results for the one nite, then you can go ahead and try to purchase the same proerty for the remaining nites.Let us know if we can be of further help and/or what you decidd to do. docprego
A bit of a newbie so sorry if this is a dumb question. What did you mean by this statement: "Since this is an extended stay you can look to see if this property shows itself for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then for the remainder of the trip. If you're happy with the results for the one nite, then you can go ahead and try to purchase the same proerty for the remaining nites"I thought the property was revealed to you once you paid for the reservation.Thank you. thereuare
No problem asking questions here... that's how we all learn. :) Using your dates as an example:Do two Hotwire searches, one for 10/22-10/23 and another for 10/23-10/29.If each seach reveals a 3.5* hotel with the same exactl amenities, chances are it's the same hotel that is being shown to you for each set of dates (since it also showed for the full stay from 10/22-10/29).So you could purchase the first nite of 10/22 in order to have the hotel revealed to you. You're not committed to that one nite. If you are happy with the hotel, you can then go ahead and book the remaining nites. If you're not happy with the result, then you can proceed to make/search for alternate plans.Essentially this minimizes the risk of you not liking the hotel for your entire stay... you commit to stay there the first nite, and then can make a more educated decision for the remainder of your stay.Does this make it clearer?
