hawk99 Posted February 17, 2009 Report Share Posted February 17, 2009 Sorry for the belated post. I used the PRICELINE link provided.Initial bid $52 for 3* rejected, hoping for the Indigo. Offer to re-bid at $69 which I did not do. I did re-bid at $59, adding the 1* level which I knew the area did not have. The room was listed at $84/night on the web. I was "upgraded" to 2* and the offer was accepted for $59 at the Extended Stay America. This was not the hotel I wanted as I read many bad reviews - citing dirtiness and bed bugs. The room did turn out to be a bit dusty/dirty and a little smelly but happily no bed bugs. I would not classify it as a 2* though and I tried to complain to PRICELINE before arriving that a 2* should not have numerous dirty and bed bug reviews. Link to comment
