FL Palm Beach La Quinta Inn and Suites Airport

I booked this hotel through Priceline, and if I wouldn't have lost my money I would have left. Its rated as a Two star Hotel, and barely deserves one star.

Our check in was fine, but when we went up to the room, we were completely disappointed. The room was dated looking, which was fine, but it was also Dirty. There was hair in the bathroom, stains on the carpet and bedspread, and FOOD crumbs on the desk. The windows were dirty. The air conditioner didn't work right- it was either hot or cold. There was no shampoo etc- again, no big deal, but you kind of expect it these days so we had to dig for our own.

We asked about a nearby TGIFridays at the front desk and she gave us directions, and off we went. Well, we drove by it 3 times, because she neglected to mention that its been closed for so long, even all the signs were gone. since it was a half block away, I doubt she didn't realize it was closed.

We booked this hotel to be close to the airport for our flight the next morning and after checking with the desk clerk, discovered that the shuttle doesnt start running until 7 am , and we had an 8 am flight. in addition to that, the breakfast included in our room price didn't start until 7 am. So we left for the airport very hungry!

We were near the elevator, which we found out the next morning was the AWFUL noise we kept hearing all night long.

All in all this is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in.

It has soured me on Priceline, since we paid $90 for the room, expecting it to be a two star property.
