bhuppy
The options on the priceline website are north and south strip, I want a 5*, what would i get, does it depend on how high or low I bid?I just don't want trump, I will take any of the other 5* options, i would even take a 4* over trumpi would even take a 4* but want to avoid westin forsure, and even TI, so how would i make this work? Also are the hotels i see listed when i dont take the bid options, the only hotels that could pop up after i bid? Thanks ahead of time!! :) Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. With PRICELINE there is no way to target, or avoid, a given hotel in the zone that is at the minimum star level (or higher) that you select... so there would be no way to avoid the Trump or Treasure Island, unless you only bid the South zone (at which point you would also only want to keep your star level at 5* in order to avoid the Westin)If there are hotels you are trying to target, or avoid, HOTWIRE can often be a better option. For example, the hotel above has a Casino icon so you know that this is not the Trump (since they don't have a casino). The above is a match for the Wynn and that would be our best guess. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. bhuppy
If i was bidding on 5 star south strip hotels what could i end up with?I dont see any posts with 5 star south thanks Link to comment
MurtleCake
The only 5 star south strip reported to the board is THEHotel at Mandalay Bay. Which is usually fairly high, because it's small... You can probably get it for about $170 a night at the lowest. Haven't really seen any deals on it. Link to comment
thereuare
All hotels reported to the board would be found in our Priceline Hotel List, but as per the comments at the top of the hotel list, it is only a compilation of hotels reported to the board, and you could be the first to report a new hotel to the list OR a new star rating for a hotel already reported. As noted in my previous reply, if you're trying to target or avoid a specific property HOTWIRE can be a better option, and we have a similar list for Hotwire Hotels.Let us know how you'd like to proceed, or confirm what property(s) you think you're seeing on HOTWIRE, and we'll advise accordingly. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
