From looking at previous posts-I started out at MTE for $110 and received message to add $22 more. Rejected that offer so added other areas that would work for this trip for a convention at Javits:MTW @ $115. Rejected. MSG/Convention Area @ $116. Rejected.Times Square @ $117. Rejected.Finally added free rebid zone:Upper East Side @ 118 Accepted.Using info from this forum I was pretty sure that I was bidding for the Intercontinental from the start so I was happy I got it at their minimum bid. The hotel website showed rates starting at $255.I've stayed here before and love the easy location from Grand Central plus its elegant, old world charm.Thank you forum!and used the PRICELINE link.
