s25843
I was looking for hotels for tomorrow, and when I clicked on the Copley Square zone, a 5* option came up. I haven't seen this in past searches. Anyone know what it could be?Maybe the Ritz Boston Common? Link to comment

Rhine-and-Roses
Taj Boston on Newbury Street shows up on the Priceline site (not the bidding part). It is the only 5 star that shows up on at all in the Boston area, but I checked for April 8-11. Check your own dates. Of course that does not mean it is THE hotel, but it could be. Is the Ritz in the Copley Zone or the Quincy Market zone? Look carefully- I think it is Copley, but I can't tell for sure. Link to comment
thatbiggbadwolfy
Be careful about this... I just screwed myself over trying to book a room in the Taj, for February 27 to 28th...I selected Copley and the 5 star, and bid $80 to see if it would be accepted. It wasn't, so I selected another site (Fanueil Hall), and then selected another star... which was 1 star. I know I was not thinking and too impatient about this...Then I put $100 as the bid ($120) after taxes, and THEN PRICELINE upgraded me to the 3 star Courtyard by Marriot. This is my worst bid ever, since $61 gets you a 4 star (Hyatt Boston), and $100 usually gets you Intercontinental or Nine-Zero. Anyway just a story of my screwup. I basically overbid by $50.. that goes to PRICELINE. Link to comment

GreatTypo
A friend tried bidding on the 5* in Copley.. he bid all the way up to $200 and it still didn't take it! We're pretty sure it's the Taj (formerly the Ritz), but not certain.Would be very interested to hear if anyone manages to get it.. Link to comment
