WMConey
Yes, it's a beautiful hotel that I've only won one time before.I was hoping to stay below $45 as has been my trend over the last few weeks. I know there's a big conference in town next week, hopefully things will settle back down.Any sense of trends from your perspective? Link to comment
thereuare
I haven't seen any trend developing, but i have no reason to believe this area is experiencing strong growth/demand while the rest of the country is experiencing soft hotel demand (excluding particular dates for conferences and such). A HOTWIRE search for rates in the next few weeks don't show rates as very high, and if there was a strong fundamental change in demand, i think we would see rates move higher than $4-$5/nite, and if there is a conference in town for the nites above, then i think it's likely you'll see a drop in the weeks following this event.Time will tell... but in the meantime, enjoy the 'niceness' of the hotel for just an extra $4/nite :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
