put this bid in as my first bid...1 zone, 4 star...$120 and accepted. wasn't expecting it to go through, but i guess i hadn't searched this board before i put in the bid either so wasn't sure what the pricing was for that time period. seems like there are lots of bids going through at The Benjamin for around that price. much cheaper than i expected because last time i went to NYC was Oct 2007 and i was bidding up to $220/night without success.

any advice would be appreciated.

You shouldn't have any problems with this stay, the transaction is 'done' and there aren't going to be any further checks on the transaction. If you're concerned, call the hotel just to confirmt that they have your reservation and that you're "all set" (and don't get involved as to why you're calling to confirm)
