namfan
Date of stay: Aug 29 - Sept 2Hotwire price: $49Location: Near Strip EastAmenities: Resort, Suite, Dining, Pool, Internet, Business, Golf, SPAI am wondering if this is for the Alexis Resort. Other posts seem to indicate that this is the likely culprit. Any thoughts. Thanks,NAMFAN (Natalie Ann Merchant FAN) Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Indications certainly seem to point that the Alexis is the most likely outcome. If you don't mind staying off-strip and you have a mastercard i would also consider this thread on LAS VEGAS DEALS at the Coast brand of properties.Let us know whatever you decide to do or if we could be of more help.PS- this weekend listened to "In My Tribe" for the first time in a looong while! namfan
:) Thanks for the info. I went ahead and purchased via Hotwire (for $47 per night actually) and it was the Alexis. This is good for me because my convention is at Bally's which is very close to the Alexis. Plus, this hotel isn't a casino, so it will be a good break from the strip when I'm ready to settle down.I'm not sure if there are any resort fee's for the Alexis but if there are I'll report it.Thanks for everything.NAMFANP.S. In My Tribe is one of Maniacs best albums. If you have a chance listen to Secrets of the I Ching which is a compilation of their earlier music. Also, if you have a chance listen to Natalie's album Motherland. You'll see a return to a folk music feel that helped define the Maniacs in the early 80's. :) Link to comment
