Priceline Hotel: 4* NYC (MTE) InterContinental The Barclay

Recently I have reviewed this site for bidding strategies before trying Priceline to book a room in NYC for 3 nights in January.

I decided to start out with $125 in the Midtown East region and then go from there. Priceline accepted my first bid, and I too got Intercontinental The Barclay for $125 a night!

It almost made me wonder if I bid too high, so reading this and other threads makes me feel better - it doesn't sound like I could do much better, and at any rate I can't complain about that rate for a 4-star hotel in the middle of Manhattan.

Thanks betterbidding!
