riro424 Posted December 10, 2008 Report Share Posted December 10, 2008 Headed to SA for the Alamo Bowl. 4* hotels on the Riverwalk are going for a hefty price this weekend.Bidded $99 for a 4* ... rejected.Added a second zone (no 4*) and re-bidded $104 ... rejected.Added a third zone (no 4*) and re-bidded $109 ... accepted.Marriott Plaza San Antonio555 South Alamo St.Subtotal for 3 nights: $327.00Taxes and fees: $66.70Total: $393.70Lowest rates on marriott.com were $149 (prepaid) and $189 (2 day cancellation).I used the PRICELINE bidding tips on this site.
