me2
I tried 3* Columbus North for $30 and was offered a $8.00 rebid. I used the free rebid including the University Area and raised the bid to $35.00. Like the previous poster did, I was hoping for the Crowne Plaza as it is 5 miles closer to the fairgrounds but I'm sure the Sheraton will be fine, especially for the price.$35 per night (48.10 total) is $15 cheaper than the Days Inn Fairgrounds. For the difference, I can drive and I will certainly have a more restful sleep. I'm not sure why I want a nice hotel, all we need is a bed. We'll get to the room about 10pm and leave by 6:30 am. thereuare
Congratulations on your win!Even though you'll only be in the room for a few hours to sleep, it's always nicer coming 'home' to a welcoming property with a nice room and bed vs. a bare bones room with scratchy sheets... and for $35/nite you can certainly afford a little luxury :)Thank you for sharing your results with the board. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your stay.
