junky Posted November 28, 2008 Report Share Posted November 28, 2008 First bid conv center zone $50, then added 2 rebid zones 8 and 9 up to 65 no dice.Ignored the counter offer at $77 in between bids and stayed with game plan :) By showing me $77, PRICELINE basically told me the winning price is between 65 and 77.Switched account, started with Fremont Street area at $55, then rebid zone conv ctr $60 then rebid zone 9 @ $65 no dice.Added conv center zone at $69 and won the bid. Hotel website cheapest room I can find is $149 + tax and fees.All thruout, each failed attempt PRICELINE will try to get you to go for the fixed retail price page.
