pixietravel
Hi I'll be visiting NY for the very first time in Dec and almost had a mini heart attack looking at the hotel prices. Luckily a girlfriend linked me to this wonderful website and hopefully I can find a better deal for the hotels. :) I already have a reservation at Herald Square for the whole duration. Price per night with tax is around $330. I checked out a couple of B&Bs but the better ones are all full for the period. Is it a bad time to visit NY?I am hoping to be able to get a 4* hotel in either Times Square or Empire State Building for no more than $200 (before tax). Is this amount realistic? Or should I up to $250? How should I go about bidding for it?Thanks! Link to comment

AaronJB
Priceline rates are specific to the dates of travel. What one person gets for one set of dates doesn't necessarily (and frequently doesn't) work for another set of dates. Link to comment
