Is there something in particular you're looking for from this stay, or a specific hotel you're trying to target or avoid, as this 3* is actually more expensive than the 3.5* appearing in the same zone, so why not be looking at that one as your first choice?

I'm very new to both this board and HOTWIRE.

Do you know which hotel the 3.5* one is that you've referred to? I'm looking for a hotel that's in easy walking distance of downtown Montreal. I've found a listing for $56/night (Dec. 5 & 6) for a 3.5* hotel in downtown Montreal with these amenities:

*Fitness

*Pool

*Restaurant

*Business center

*Laundry

*High-speed internet

*Spa services

Using some pointers I've found on this board, I've researched it and think it might be the Holiday Inn Select Montreal-Ctr Vle-Dwtwn Conv Ctr. Does this seem correct to you?
