I didn't want to split up my stay and drag my bags around since it is only a two night stay. I checked on HOTWIRE and according to amenities, the Millenium UN (good Tripadvisor reviews) was coming up for $209 for my dates, everything else in that category or higher was coming up more expensive. My backup was the Marriott Courtyard Jersey City for two nights $405.84. Even though that hotel gets very good reviews and is right next to a PATH station, I was hoping to get into Midtown for around the same price.I selected CPS, MS, MTE, MTW and TS as my starting areas and used rebids CPS, LI, UES and UWS. I started at $100 and went up by $5 and waited every 24 hours and started again. Accepted at $170.
