Priceline Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (Strip South) Monte Carlo

So I was looking for a decent hotel on the strip for a 3 night stay in Vegas...never been there.

Do the priceline thing....

$60 per night from 10/20/08 to 10/23/08

4* Hotel,

Accepted by the Monte Carlo Hotel...

Am I happy? Not so much, Priceline is the only website that rates the Monte Carlo as a 4* hotel, everyone else has them as a 3*. Anyways....just wanted to share the successful bid!!!

If you don't know, we maintain a Priceline Hotel List of all hotels reported to the board and star rating it was last reported at. While the list is constantly changing (as hotels are upgraded/downgraded/added/removed) you could see that the Monte Carlo was a possibility in this zone and last reported at the 4* level.

Please, do not despair. Just want you to know that I have visited Las Vegas many, many times. In fact, 4 of us will be there 10/22-10/27. I intend to use priceline to secure two rooms. The Monte Carlo is actually a very nice casino! They have a micro brewery on-site (great for party animals!) Best of all, their location is next to New York New York, across from MGM, and a short walk from the gorgeous fountains of Bellagio. You are also close to the FREE monorail which runs South to Mandalay Bay (from The Excalibur) and you can pick up the "pay-to-ride" monorail at MGM. I consider the Monte Carlo very convenient to lots of Vegas highlights and a TERRIFIC bargain at $60. per night! Have a great time!
