alyson
I am trying my luck at getting the Omni in Corpus this weekend. On the winning bids- every win says "beach" area for the Omni. But by mapping the hotel it is in the "Downtown Corpus" area on priceline. Also there is no "Beach" choice on priceline. SO---- Do I select Downtown or North Padre? Any other advice? Thanks. thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!PRICELINE has either ranamed or rezoned the boundaries of this area... or both. There are two Omni Hotels in Corpus Christi and both appear to currently be in the "Downtown" zone if these are the poperties you're trying to win. Note that you're not bidding on a specific hotel and you could receive any 3* hotel in this area.If you would like help with a bidding strategy let us know the actual dates of your stay and your maximum bid and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Ringman
This scared me for a moment!! I thought maybe PL was rolling the Omni ('s) into the area they now call CC South--It appears they did just rename the Beach area- now calling it Downtown...... although I can't understand why-- unless PL customers were complaining that the term "Beach" was misleading, as the Omni's are not exactly on the beach (and the Corpus Christi beach ain't exactly the real beach you go to while in Corpus)!!
