oopsz
Bid for a compact at $14, no dice, added economy and upped to $16, no dice. Waited 24 hours, bid compact at $16, accepted. 7 days plus fees and taxes = $165. HOTWIRE price was $20.95, but lower fees (somehow), would have been $185. Saved a few bucks. Wish I had started at economy. Bid through the PRICELINE link (as always!) Link to comment

oopsz
Interesting note- National in Raleigh doesn't have any economy cars- the smallest they rent is compact. The person in front of me when I went to pick up my car had a PRICELINE bid for economy, but got a compact sedan. Link to comment
