Is out of state driving included in Priceline's service?

I am thinking about renting through priceline for an out of state trip. I understand Priceline offers unlimited mileage but I was wondering if out of state driving is included or if you have to pay extra? Thanks.

Yes, It is included. I recently rented a car in South Carolina to drive to North CArolina. The Alamo representative was quite happy to give me directions to N C.

It depends...

You're subject to the terms fo the rental agreement, many of which have terms which prevent you from driving outside an 'acceptable' area... so while in urso_polar's case above driving from South Carolina to North Carolina would certainly be acceptable, driving the car from North Carolina to California may not. If you're looking to simply cross the border of a neighboring state it shouldn't be an issue.

Just a FYI I finally got a response from Priceline:

If you choose to Name Your Own Price, all rental car reservations come

with unlimited mileage. You are free to drive the rental vehicle across

state lines in the U.S. as long as you return the vehicle at the

location that is specified on your itinerary when you booked with us.

Apparently this isnt true if you just pick a rental company from the list at the set price.

So this is actually an advantage of the name your own price deal.
