jockass
Hi,I am new to this and have read up on bidding strategies through other posts. My question is what would be a sensible price for me to bid in priceline for a 4* hotel at Niagara falls. I searched on hotwire and a 4* hotel is coming up as $119 per night. Do you think a bid of $80 is a reasonable start?ThanksJock Link to comment
lhwjud
I did try around these date up to $72 with no luck. Perhaps you can start off with $70 with $5 increment just IMHO. Link to comment
sjweyman
It isn't unreasonable to try but during high season in Niagara Falls you are unlikely to get a much better deal on PRICELINE than you are on HOTWIRE. Pretty much any other location than Niagara Falls and I would definitely say use Priceline (beats Hotwire 99% of the time). In this case, you might end up failing or paying more than Hotwire.Provides some more info on your dates, your bidding strategy, etc and I'm sure people will chip in with advice. Link to comment
