thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your success... glad to see you got a great deal. This is a BIG win... we haven't see sub-$120 prices in quite some time; and there has been a lot less bidding for 5* hotels in this zone since the Trump International appeared as users prefer to be closer to the strip.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and for using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay... hope your luck is just as good in Vegas!! :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
hogman10
Thanks, I saved 50% off my airfare on this trip as well, mostly do to luck.I was somewhat hesitant to make the bid because of the trump hotel showing up, but I knew I had time before I went and could keep bidding low on the off chance I'd get something. At 119 the trump would have been fine with me. One thing I did do was check the venetian website to look at their promo dates, the three dates I bid on were promo'd at 199, the other dates I'll be in LV weren't. I took some additional advice I read on here and separated my dates and will try bidding on the other dates I'll be in LV, time is on my side. Thanks again for the help, and advice on this site. traveler12
Wow, that's awesome! I plan on going there from 10/9- 10/13 and I would love getting the price you got for Venetian. What location did you put down for your first bid and did you bid for 4* or 5*? Link to comment

What location did you put down for your first bid and did you bid for 4* or 5*?It looks like you're staying for the weekend, so I doubt you'll get the same rate as I did.If you split you bids you may be able to get the 119 rate for the 9th and 12th.That would mean you'd have to place separate bids though, not sure if you want to do that.I bid for a 5* north, then followed the advice of the weasel fan who runs the board.
