toussar Posted June 23, 2004 Report Share Posted June 23, 2004 Back from my FLL trip. I liked the Sheraton Yankee Trader. It is right on the beach and has 2 pools. It is also a short walking distance from a bunch of restaurants and shops and you can even catch the Water Taxi ($5/day) 1 block away. The staff was very friendly. Due to some previous connections we were able to get our room upgraded to a suite with an oceanview, which was spacious and on the 14th floor. One minor problem ocurred when the tub faucet came off and water came shooting out. It was repaired within 30 minutes and Sheraton offered us a free movie or $15 in Fun Bucks for use at the Deli or restaurant.Would definetly stay there again :) Link to comment
