Priceline Hotel: Bidding Strategy for Anchorage

Any chance of a bidding strategy for Anchorage? Details here:

In: Sat 23AUG08

Out: Sun 24AUG08

Would like to bid for 3*

Maximum bid $140 ( I have a Motel6 booked for that much, so I may as well try and upgrade upto the same price?)

There is only one other zone, and it only contains only 1* properties.

With time on your side, i would bid $85, add re-bid zone, then bid $90. Repeat, increasing each bid by $5 every 24 hours... unitl you get up to your maixmum bid of $140 which should happen in less than a week.

If that is rejected, perhaps you would also want to then try for a 2.5* property as it too would likely be a step up from a Motel 6)?
