beachlover Posted June 11, 2008 Report Share Posted June 11, 2008 This is my first time using PRICELINE (I usually use HOTWIRE) but was desperate to find a reasonable place to spend the night after a family event and before a super early flight the next morning. I was hating Priceline after getting bid after bid rejected...I tried 80, 85, 90, 95 with three stars with no luck. I increased the area to also Happague and also 2 1/2 stars and increased the bid to 105 and got the Courtyard Long Island Macarthur Airport for $105. A good enough deal, considering the website lists their rooms at $170+ and it's a Saturday night... Any suggestions for the future? Link to comment
