made115 Posted June 5, 2008 Report Share Posted June 5, 2008 I've checked the price for Hyatt Place Universal several times during the last two weeks. It was always $39 for 12/22-12/26. When I wanted to book it yesterday the price increased to $59. Trying several dates during the next months it was always $59. Is that a general increase of pricing or maybe because I checked it to often? Link to comment

Filmmaker Posted June 20, 2008 Report Share Posted June 20, 2008 I also realized this, as this was one of my favourites.I then went to other travel sites like for instance Expedia, and what a shock!This hotel's average nightly rate has jumped up from $99 to $187 per night!!!For some reason the hotel suddenly charges way more....Maybe they have renovated? or better breakfast? what else can it be?The HOTWIRE price has jumped up with 'only' $20, which still makes it a good deal compared to the retail price.
