Started @ North Charleston-Northwoods Mall-Wannamaker Park Northwoods Mall area @ $35 a night.

Re-Bid @ $45 a night by Adding North Charleston-Airport-Coliseum.

We go down there pretty regular & have always been happy with the Studios Plus which we normally win on the first bid. I think the first bid probably failed because of the International Spoleto Festival going on which is really big in Charleston.

This was a VERY nice suprise!

This place really had a COZY Feeling & the STAFF are very friendly & helpful. It is Walking Distance to the Outlets (Across the Street), The Building is Clean & Looks Well Maintained like it had been recently renovated but they said it was 6 years ago. There are Wooden Rocking Chairs in front of Hotel, then you enter a small lobby with a few cozy chairs, if you continue straight you enter a Breakfast Room (YES they give Continental Breakfast 6-9AM and a Mgrs reception Mon-Wed nights) and then you can exit into a small but nice courtyard that was clean & well groomed with tables, lounge chairs, bbq grill, etc... To the left you may enter the Pool area that is indoors but open window like with gate on the courtyard side so probably closed in winter? There is also a small room next to the Pool Room that has a treadmill, excercise bike & stair climber which all appeared new.

The rooms are a tad smaller than Studio Plus but adequate for the 4 of us. You walked in the room and the bath was to the right & the kitchen area to the left which had a full sized refrigerator, sink w/ garbage disposal, microwave, two burner stove with small oven. It did not have much in terms of dishes, pots & pans or silverware with a piece of this or that etc.... A Low Breakfast Bar separated the Kitchen area from the Living Area, The Sleeping Area was Across from the Living Area (a simple curtain between the two areas would be nice) I loved that the Kitchen & Bath areas did not have carpet.

It was also nice how they designed the hotel there seemed to be an exterior door everywhere so no matter where your room was you could park close to it. There was a security guard that we saw at night patrolling but there was no indication of a need for it.

HOPE to WIN this AGAIN :) :)

Take Care!

Lisa

Congratuatlions on your win and thank you for sharing it with the board.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay.

Please try to post your wins as you receive them and then use the Hotel Review section of the board for your follow-up on the property. This enables us to link to the hotel review in the hotel list and allows your post to be seen by more users as this thread makes its way off the front page of the forum.

Can you please post your most recent win of this property to the board (as a NEW TOPIC) so that we can add this property to the Hotel List too.

Hi,

Thanks!

Sorry if I do things wrong but honestly I am not all that Internet Sauvy and have no clue how to do that. I only ever read the posts and post my wins so if I can figure it out I will otherwise I'll omit that info until I do.

"Can you please post your most recent win of this property to the board (as a NEW TOPIC) so that we can add this property to the Hotel List too."

There was a post already with the same info so I didn't know each win should be posted even if the same but this I can correct :)

"Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases."

I did :)

Take Care,

Lisa

All we're saying is to post your wins as they occur... rather than days/weeks after you win the hotel or after your stay.

Yes, even if a hotel is already reported to the board, and even for the same dates, start a NEW TOPIC as it will give others an idea of the frequency for which hotels are awarded/won.
