Priceline Hotel: 4* Miami (Downtown) Hyatt Regency

Using the PRICELINE link from better bidding I bid $78 and was accepted first try for downtown 4* Hyatt for $78. The price on the web site was $128. I thought for sure I was going to get Intercontinental, but that is the rules of the game and I lost.

But I am sure it is a good hotel and nice amenties.

Not sure why you expected the InterContinental, but I stayed at the Hyatt a few years back and it served our needs well (pre-cruise stay)... we were pleased with it and would have no problem receiving it again.

At least you got a good deal and it's just a one nite stay.

Thank you for assuring me on that stay. I feel better about that now and certainly feel the price is fine for one night cruise pre stay. Not sure why I thought I was getting Intercomtinental either LOL! Wishing thinking I guess!
