bostonlou
Looking for help on a room in NYC for 1 night - June 25th. I'm in town for a concert at MSG.Doing the trip with a friend and not the wife so the hotel isn't important but not having bed bugs is :)so... a 3* or 4* would work... and ideally we'd be under 200 or sothoughts??and thanks Link to comment
thereuare
Which PRICELINE zone(s) are you willing to accept? If you can only get a hotel with one bed would that be acceptable? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. bostonlou
I think I need to be flexible so I'm willing to accept most zones... ... probably not Long Island City or Brooklyn... the closer to MSG the better but as i said hotel quality/affordability is top priority1 bed would be acceptable although i don't want it to be a Full - 2 beds would be preferable yesterday I saw your advice on another thread and got up to $130followingSelect 4* MTE and MTW...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $130, if rejected close browser and re-access thru our links to PRICELINEfrom Priceline NYCshould I continue down that path?will definitely use the links here... thanks Link to comment
thereuare
I think the suggested bidding strategy above would be too low for your dates. One more question... are you willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3* or are you looking for the least expensive 3* or better hotel for your dates. (ie- if given the choice would you prefer a 4* for $200 or a 3* for $165, as an example)Let us know the above and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Thanks for using our PRICELINE links to begin your bidding :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
bostonlou
in the example i'd take the 4*.... $100 each is probably hitting the maxbut if the 3* is going to be a serviceable place... then i'd go with that for less moneyas i said... it's me and a buddy... we don't care what else is in the hotel... just need a place to pass out really.... and don't want to wake up with bed bug bites :) Link to comment
thereuare
At the 4* level you have six re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.(i'm assuming Downtown is also acceptable, but if not, leave it out of your bidding)Select 4* MTE, MTW, CPS, TS, ESB, and Downtown...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone3...Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone4...Bid $150, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINE.Select 4* MTE, MTW, CPS, TS, ESB, and Downtown and re-bid zone5...Bid $155, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $160, if rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $165, if rejected add re-bid zone3...Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone4...Bid $175, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINE.Select 4* MTE, MTW, CPS, TS, ESB, and Downtown and re-bid zone6...Bid $180, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $185, if rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $190, if rejected add re-bid zone3...Bid $195, if rejected add re-bid zone4...Bid $200I would start with the above, if rejected we'll revise to try for a 3 star.Any questions feel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. "MTE, MTW, CPS, TS, ESB, and Downtown..." as my acceptable zones? or do you mean start with one... then add the others? like say I start with MTEBid $120, if rejected add MTW...Bid $130, if rejected add CPS...Bid $140, if rejected add TS...Bid $145, if rejected add ESB...Bid $150, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINE.or do i select them all... then add the other rebid zones?thanks for the help and clarification Link to comment
thereuare
so you're saying i should start my first bid selecting ALL OF These?
