smperkin
This must have been one of the top places to stay in Portland many years ago. These days it needs some work. The front of the place looks a little dingy. The common areas are very spiffy. The lobby cafe and the restaurant with the view of the river are very well kept. As for the room it was adequate but the carpet needed replacing. Very clean. Huge bathroom. Comfortable bed. Small balcony. No hallway noise or door slamming.I was in the East wing. No traffic noise. Very little noise from the planes taking off from PDX. Free parking. Free computer access in the business centre. A little hard to find but worth it. A nice place to stay just to see the lobby.
