calipete
With respect to a 4* in central Philly Friday night (4/25), I have tried using multiplefree rebids up to $130, but failed to be accepted. Is therea different option to try in this scenario? I'm also thinking of goingto a 3* (also downtown); again I'd like to keep the price down to$130/night and preferably significantly less if a 3*. Thanks again! Link to comment
thereuare
If you've already bid up to your limit there's not much else you can do other than wait it out and try again, raise your maximum bid, or lower your star rating.I seem to recall from your other thread that you were "getting in late"... are you flying? If so, have you considered the Airport zone? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
calipete
Wound up with Club Quarters for $125. Priceline lists it as 3* although I believe Hotels.com had it as a 4*. I'm familiar with CQ generally, however, and don't have any great expectations. I may have left $10 or $20 on the table, although this is still much better than HOTWIRE was showing for my date. So in sum, I've got Club Quarters on the 25th at $125 and Loews on the 26th and 27th at $110. I used the PRICELINE link provided; you may want to change the title of this thread. Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your win. While you may not have high expectations (usually room for an upside surprise :) ) glad to hear you saved some money. I recall from your other post that this was a tough nite in Philadelphia and for one nite, arriving late, i'm sure it'll serve your needs before you move to the Loews Philadelphia. Thanks for the post and for using our PRICELINE link to start your bidding.Enjoy your stay(s) and have a great trip.
