kapaa205
Just returned from a one night stay at the Wyndham. No mention of Hotwire on check-in and gave me a king, non-smoking room upon request. Nice hotel..about a mile from Route 80. Room was standard business type with the ususal desk, chair and reclining armchair. Bathroom was large. Room and bathroom were clean. Hallway carpets a little worn and stained especially near the elavator (4th floor). Hotel had indoor pool and hot tub.....pool was small and the water on the cold side....hot tub was real hot. Had breakfast in the restaurant, buffet for $9.99 which included cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, baked goods, juice, coffee, eggs, bacon, etc, and a chef to make omelets or waffles. Nice breakfast and good service. Staff at hotel were plesant. There was a wedding reception the night we stayed so there was some hallway noise at night when the guests were returning to their rooms. All in all a nice clean hotel. Hotel is located in the International Trade Zone so the area is real quiet. There are some chain restaurants about a mile away (Chilli's, Macaronni Grill, Longhorn steak house, as well as the usual fast food places). Also plenty of shopping in the same area, Sam's Club, Walmart, Babies r' US, Lowes, Old Navy, just to name a few. Link to comment
